Building in a Flood Zone: Smart Design & Engineering

Situated on a 1-in-100 flood zone, the extension was raised well above ground level to meet compliance. Engineering challenges, flood consultants, and elevated materials all played a role in bringing the vision to life.

Extensive Demolition & Structural Reinvention

Almost 95% of the existing home was demolished, along with the shed, pool, and pergola. Poor ground conditions complicated excavation, but once the suspended concrete slab was in, the build took off.

Detail-Driven Craftsmanship Throughout

Signature Built to Matter detailing shines with raked ceilings, exposed rafters, v-groove eave linings, and cavity sliding doors. Every corner was crafted to enhance flow, light, and livability — balancing tradition with modern function.
